1. What this site is
Raw Segment is a free, informational course about starting a free-to-play game on a personal computer, written for readers in Australia. There is no enrolment, no account, no fee, no assessment and no certificate, and nothing here is accredited training or a recognised qualification.
2. It is not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical, security or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified person who knows your circumstances. Where the course touches on Australian law or regulation, it points at the responsible body and you should read the current material there. Decisions about your own computer, accounts and money remain yours.
3. Accuracy and change
We take care to be accurate and review the course at least every six months. Even so, system requirements, features, available regions and the terms of any game can be altered by the vendor without notice. Anything this site says about a product describes what the vendor stated when we wrote it. Check the vendor's own site before acting, and tell us at info@rawsegment.online if something is out of date.
4. Third-party sites
This site links to other websites, including Australian government resources and, as disclosed, one commercial product through paid affiliate links. Those sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their terms or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement. Our relationship with the linked commercial product is set out in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
5. No relationship with any vendor
Full Life studio s.r.o. is not an agent, reseller, partner, authorised distributor or official support channel for any product named on this site, and no vendor has endorsed or reviewed the course. We cannot act on your behalf with a vendor or resolve anything to do with an account you hold with one.
6. Use of the content
The text, layout, stylesheet and code are owned by Full Life studio s.r.o. You may read it, print the checklists, and copy pages for personal or household use. Republishing substantial parts elsewhere, or using them commercially, requires our written permission. Brand names belong to their owners, as the footer notice states.
7. Liability
The site is provided as it is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on it, including anything that happens to a computer, an account or money after you act on general guidance published here.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a liability cannot lawfully be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant content or the cost of doing so. Since the course is supplied free of charge, that cost is nil, and saying so does not reduce any non-excludable right you hold.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The effective date at the top is updated when we do, and the version published here is the one that applies to your reading of the site at that time.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where Full Life studio s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. That choice does not displace any consumer protection you have under the Australian Consumer Law or under the mandatory law of the place where you live, and it does not prevent you from bringing a matter before a regulator or court in Australia where the law allows it.
